The Luxury High Back Console
Lookout dog car seat will allow small dogs to see out the window while
kept safe and secure in the front of your vehicle.
The
Luxury High Back
Console Lookout Dog Car Seat comes with a metal swivel safety strap which
attaches to the back of your dogs harness. The pet car seat is secured to
the console between driver and passenger seats with connecting straps,
instruction are below.
The Luxury
High Back Console Lookout Dog Car Seat
has a comfortable sturdy foam form base with faux lambswool interior
and high quality fabric exterior which is secured to foam body with elastic.
All
Lookout dog car seats are made of the highest grade dense foam - the
removable cover has double-stitching, corded detailing around all
edges, the bottom is also covered with a black poly/cotton fabric &
unzips for removal. The matching stuffed pillow has corded detailing, brass
zipper & is also machine washable.
Includes an adjustable nylon
connecting strap with swivel clasp that hooks onto the back of your
dogs harness to secure your dog safely in the Lookout dog car seat, a harness
must be used with this dog car seat.
INSTALLATION:
There
are 2 straps supplied that will become attached to the front drivers seat and
the passenger seat. These straps, called the seat strap, go through the front
seats between the upper back and lower back cushions & come around the metal
support of the upper seat back on the side of the console. The have a buckle
attached to when fastened the strap becomes a loop and has excess material for
adjustment. These seat straps will become permanent for ease of installation
and removal of the lookout.
The
lookout seat has a containment strap going through the rear of the lookout
seat with a loop on both ends. The lookout seat is placed on the console so the
foam projection is to the rear and up against the console preventing it from
going forward
Open
the buckle on the looped seat strap that now goes through the seat and slide
the loop from the Lookouts containment strap over this strap and reconnect the
seat strap buckle. Do this on both sides of the console and tighten the seat
strap so that it will pull the Lookout tight to the console.
The
security strap supplied goes around the containment strap by releasing the
buckle on the security harness, placing it around the containment strap and
re-attaching it. The silver harness hood goes around the D ring in your pets
harness. For safety in an accident, do not attach the harness strap to your
pets collar
