Xsmall - comfortably holds pets 4.5 lbs or less & weighs 3 lb
Small - comfortably holds pets 6 lbs or less & weighs 3 lb 6 oz
Medium - comfortably holds pets 12 lbs or less & weighs 4 lb 4 oz
Large - comfortably holds pets 16 lbs or less & weighs 5 lb 2 oz
XLarge - comfortably holds pets 25 lbs or less & weighs 6 lb 6 oz

need to have the full length for the pet to fit comfortably inside
