To measure:
To get the RIB CAGE circumference measure your dog around the LARGEST part of his/her rib cage just behind the front legs while your dog is standing. Make this measurement SNUG, and be sure you can fit 1 finger under the measuring tape not 2. This list is an approximate guideline for sizing your dog.

Size 1 fits dogs 6-10 lbs with a 12-13" rib cage
Size 2 fits dogs 11-14 lbs with a 13-16" rib cage-discontinued
Size 3 fits dogs 15-20 lbs with a 17-21" rib cage-discontinued
Size 4 fits dogs 21-30 lbs with a 22-24" rib cage-discontinued
Size 5 fits dogs 31-55 lbs with a 25-27" rib cage
Size 6 fits dogs 56-65 lbs with a 28-31" rib cage
